Favorite movie: Avengers Endgame

Hometown: Seoul / South Korea

Non-science activity: Travel

Dream benchmate:

One item from your bucket list: Winning mega millions

Your scientific interests: RNA biogenesis

Current research interests: I currently investigate how mTOR or cancer cellular signaling regulates RNA biogenesis such as RNA splicing or RNA degradation etc, which promotes cancer cell growth.

Research

I got bachelor and master degree from Korea University in South Korea. During the master, I investigated cholesterol regulatory mechanism to prevent diabetes and obesity.  I am currently working on projects to investigate how mTOR signaling regulates RNA biogenesis.
